Virtual dogs are coming to your Vita in June.
Sony has announced that its virtual pet simulator, PlayStation Vita Pets, will be released on June 3.
As the name suggests, PlayStation Vita Pets will be exclusive to the Vita.
According to today's announcement, developer Spiral House wanted to make something that was "more than just a pet sim." Players will be able to choose from four different puppies to rear, but it doesn't end there - skills taught to your fluffy new sidekick will come into play as you explore mines, graveyards, and forests, journeying to "uncover the long lost legend of a king and his dog."
PlayStation Vita Pets was first revealed last year. From June 3 it will be available on the PlayStation Store; currently there is no word of its price range, or whether there will be a retail version.
