Now that's a fine looking game.
Daedalic Entertainment's upcoming adventure game Silence: The Whispered World II, will be coming to PS4. Silence had already been announced for Xbox One back in October, and for PC and Mac at last year's E3.
The adventure game arose from Daedalic's love of the genre and its belief that the genre "isn’t dead at all," but "quite the opposite." The company believes "there’s a lot of room for modernisation within the genre," while remaining true to the genre's roots.
Silence: The Whispered World II features a unique visual style that it created using a process it calls "camera projection."
"We place 3D objects and 3D characters in 3D environments, but then project 2D art on everything," it said. The dual-purpose technique allows the company to maintain the high-level of detail of hand drawn art while reaping the benefits of 3D game design.
Daedalic is also redesigning the game's cursor, and will offer a mix of control options for the PS4 version of the game.
