Amazon App Store offering over 30 paid apps for free

 

Amazon's App Store may pale in comparison to the app count of the Google Play Store, but there's something you'll find on the e-tailor's app portal more often: Deals. While Google has certainly done its share of discounts on top apps, Amazon is willing to give away more, and let's not forget about the free paid app a day it offers. Well, for two days, Amazon is not giving away 31 apps, with a value of over $100. 

Not all of the apps available in the sale are necessarily shiny gems, but there are a few that you might have held off from paying for that you can now get for free.

Just to name a few of the better choices:

• AccuWeather Platinum (normally $2.99)
• Plex (normally $4.99)
• Root Explorer (normally $3.99)
• MyBackup Pro (normally $4.99)
• Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (normally $2.99)

Of course, there are more free apps available, spanning several categories. A large majority are games, but there's also a good amount of productivity apps as well. This is a deal that shouldn't be missed, and while you're at it, download most of them just for the heck of it. You just never know when you'll want that random app.
